The Cost Controller role involves overseeing various financial tasks and analysis for rigs, profit centers, and legal entities. This includes issuing customer invoices, interacting with customers and vendors, and applying accounting principles to prepare and analyze financial information.
Key responsibilities include reviewing monthly Profit & Loss statements and account analysis, preparing monthly Profit & Loss statements and account analysis, reviewing financial results with assigned rig teams, and ensuring day-to-day operations are carried out in accordance with established policies and objectives.
An ideal candidate will have a minimum 4-year college degree in accounting and/or finance, along with relevant professional certifications. At least 5 years of financial experience is required, preferably in an offshore drilling-related environment.
The successful candidate will possess excellent English verbal and written communication skills and be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
