We are a busy Ophthalmology Practice in Joondalup & have a dynamic team always prioritising patient care & comfort.
We are seeking a Part-Time medical receptionist 3 full days per week, who will align with our values and is focused on providing a high-quality experience for our patients.
This role would suit a receptionist with excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Committed to patient care and satisfaction
Ability to work both independently with initiative and as part of a team
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Reliability with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
Enthusiasm to grow and develop with the practice
Computer literate, knowledge of office software packages e.g. Word, Excel
Mature with a professional attitude
Ability to cope in extremely busy clinic and multi-task.
Must be able to cover for sick leave and annual leave.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
Previous health industry experience
At least 2–4 years of experience in a reception role
Experience with Genie software desirable but not required
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITES WILL INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO)
Provide high quality reception services to patients in a caring and supportive manner
Scheduling appointments
Medical typing as required
Processing incoming and outgoing mail
Preparation of consulting rooms and general housekeeping duties
Liaise with medical and non-medical staff, other consultants and GP's in relation to bookings and reports
Filing
Patient billing
Ordering stationery & medical supplies
Any other administrative duties as directed by the Practice Manager
