Our Bundaberg clinic is looking for TWO Radiation Therapist's to join their close-knit team.
One is a full-time, permanent opportunity and the other is a part-time, 2 days per week, 6-month contract.
As a Radiation Therapist you are responsible for delivering efficient and effective radiotherapy treatment and/or planning activities of a high quality.
These positions are in a clinical role that contribute to the delivery of efficient and effective radiotherapy treatment.
Responsibilities
Personally undertake radiation therapy treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant Centre and across the practice.
Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
Ensures that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications
Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy at an appropriate level (treatment and planning), including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques
Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment
Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills
Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services
Bachelor degree as relevant (Radiation Therapy)
Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA
