Roseberry Qld invites you to become a driving force in our mission to empower the youth of Gladstone. As a Mobile Support & Crisis Accommodation Program Case Manager you will provide support to young people who either live in their own home, in temporary living situations, in a community setting, or in public spaces. The programs supports young people aged 16 – 25 years old, who are identified as needing assistance to establish and maintain stable accommodation or transition to alternative housing and live independently, therefore breaking the homelessness cycle.

This role requires casual day, evening and night shifts as well as weekend work.
We are looking for people who have a:
A good understanding of the issues causing homelessness for young people and the resultant issues; and an ability to provide appropriate services to address these issues in accordance with service agreements and organisational policies.
High level administrative skills, including computer literacy with experience in word processing and the ability to write and maintain client related documentation.
Demonstrated understanding of casework principles for young people and the ability to translate this into practice.
A proven ability to develop and implement programs, services and activities as detailed in case plans that meet the developmental needs of young people.
Demonstrated commitment to uphold the values of the organisation.
Youth worker qualification or part completion of behavioural/social science certificate/diploma and/or significant life experience would be viewed favourably.
Demonstrated experience in working directly with vulnerable young people including an understanding of homelessness issues.
Valid Blue Card – issued through the Blue Card Services.
Current Driver's Licence.
