Health Information Officer Role Overview
This role is responsible for managing the health information of patients and providing mandatory reports to relevant authorities.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in delivering effective training and providing constructive feedback to staff.
Key responsibilities include quality improvement scanning, training new and existing staff, processing and documentation management, digital medical record error corrections, electronic medical records transition, and process FOI/Other legal requests.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data analytical skills, critical and analytical thinking, and ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
