About the Position
Continuing, Full Time Appointment Professional Employee Level 5/6 Annual salary $75,927 – $95,375 pa + 17% superannuation & 6 weeks annual leave Casuarina Campus | Larrakia Country
As the Quality Support Officer for TAFE, you will be responsible for the support of Vocational Education and Training (VET) learning and teaching initiatives within CDU TAFE. Working under the supervision of the Quality Manager and in consultation with other relevant staff, responsibilities include supporting the development, registration and review of VET training products, supporting student-centered activities within TAFE, providing administrative support for quality and compliance functions, and liaising with other cognate areas on matters relating to learning and teaching.
The role supports CDU TAFE to drive quality in its training and assessment, student experience and partnerships, with a strong focus on quality, adherence to regulations, student experience, and promotion of a strong team-based approach to meeting deadlines. The role includes data entry as well as obtaining and compiling relevant source material, such as course and unit accreditation and registration materials for course system entry and web publication.
About You
To be successful, you will require:
* Relevant undergraduate qualification with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of extensive relevant experience within a Vocational Education and Training/TAFE environment.
* Demonstrated high level of digital literacy, including word processing and electronic document management.
* Experience in supporting committees, the collection and synthesis of information/data and the preparation of high-quality resources and reports in a VET setting.
* Demonstrated high-level cross-cultural, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate in a culturally sensitive manner with internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong organisational skills including the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing demands without compromising standards of service or quality.
* Proven ability to work autonomously with demonstrated flexibility and the ability to work in a challenging environment with problem-solving skills to achieve specific outcomes, initiative, discretion, and judgement.

Additional Key Selection Criteria for Level 6
* Ability to communicate analysis and insights using a range of written and visual tools and techniques.
* A demonstrated good understanding of learning and teaching issues in the VET sector
* Completion of TAE40122 or equivalent; completion of an identified nationally recognised skills set from the TAE training package or equivalent.
* Demonstrated high level of knowledge of RTO standards and training packages, with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively in the job role, or extensive relevant experience in a similar role.
Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Employee Level 5/6. The base salary will be in the range of $75,927 - $95,375 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $88,834 - $111,588 per annum inclusive of 17% superannuation.
