Due to business growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join our team in Tingalpa.
You will report directly to the General Manager and play a crucial role where you will own the estimating process from reviewing tender documents through to final submission for projects across SEQ and FNQ.
About the role:
* Prepare cost estimates
* Project Takeoffs
* Budget and Cost Control
* Bid Preparation and Analysis
* Risk Management and Cost Optimization
* Project Post-Bid and Reporting
* Maintain Estimating Database
* Build relationships with key stakeholders including subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
* Work closely with operations and delivery teams to develop smart pricing strategies
About You
* Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management advantageous or equivalent work experience
* Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a civil estimator in civil construction or infrastructure projects
* Strong experience with estimating software advantageous
* Experience with local market pricing
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
* Be a confident communicator with clients and stakeholders with strong interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational skills and an ability to manage multiple priorities and your time effectively
