We are looking for a Graphic Designer (Packaging) to join our head office team in Geelong.

Please note we do not offer hybrid working arrangements and the role will be required onsite in Geelong full time.
About the Role:
You will work closely with the Product Team to develop packaging designs for both new and existing products, guiding concepts from initial idea through to final production. The role will also take ownership of driving our sustainability initiatives across packaging.
Key responsibilities:
* Conceptualize, design and execute primary and secondary packaging design while managing our sustainability packaging drive.
* Understand packaging materials, finishes, techniques
* Set up die-lines for print and production
* Communicate effectively with the product team to deliver high polished packaging solutions
* Ability to think conceptually and deliver innovative design solutions
* Be aware of packaging trends and trends in the current market keeping sustainability at mind always
* Manage several projects simultaneously. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
About You:
* Minimum 3 years of graphic design experience (in packaging design)
* Exposure to different product types will be beneficial
* Tertiary qualification (degree/diploma) in related field
* Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
* Understands all elements of design: illustration, page layout, colour and typography
* Possess a creative flair in generating new ideas and concepts
* Have exceptional attention to detail
* Work well autonomously as well as in a team
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
