Job Title: Physical Therapist
This role involves comprehensive assessments of patients with physical and functional deficits.
The ideal candidate will develop and implement individual/group physical therapy treatments to enhance mobility, alleviate pain, restore function, prevent permanent disability, and promote independence.
* Prior experience as a licensed PT is essential; 3 years' experience is preferred, with 1 year in a similar setting.
* A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is desired.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough assessments of patients with physical and functional deficits.
2. Develop and implement individual/group physical therapy treatments to enhance mobility, alleviate pain, restore function, prevent permanent disability, and promote independence.
3. Educate patients and caregivers on evaluation findings and management of care recommendations.
4. Establish treatment goals and plans that reflect patient needs while meeting departmental, institutional, and third-party reimbursement requirements.
5. Implement comprehensive individual and group treatment, consistently demonstrating clinical competence.
6. Demonstrate ability to engage patients in treatment, provide reinforcement and support; set limits appropriately.
7. Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's/Master's/Doctorate or equivalent in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
* Current Commonwealth of Massachusetts license.
* CPR certification.
