Are you a strategic procurement leader ready to make a meaningful impact in aged care? Juniper, one of Western Australia's largest not-for-profit aged care providers, is seeking a Procurement and Contracts Manager to lead our sourcing and contract management functions with purpose and precision.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead a team of procurement professionals to deliver agile, efficient, and value-driven procurement and contract management strategies. This role is pivotal in ensuring our procurement systems support frontline services while aligning with best practices, compliance standards, and Juniper's core values.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of procurement and contract management strategies across the organisation
Provide expert advice to senior leaders on procurement risks, opportunities, and governance
Oversee supplier selection, performance monitoring, and contract compliance
Drive continuous improvement in procurement systems, processes, and frameworks
Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure procurement outcomes align with business needs
Conduct commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers
Ensure procurement supports urgent and emergency events with responsive supplier engagement
Develop and maintain preferred supplier frameworks and contract registers
Lead training and capability development for procurement stakeholders
Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, legislation, and Juniper policies
Promote safe work practices and uphold Juniper's values in all procurement activities
What You'll Bring
7+ years of procurement experience, including leadership roles
Strong knowledge of contract law, project management, and procurement governance
Exceptional negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (commercial, legal, project management)
CIPS membership or postgraduate procurement qualifications (highly desirable)
