SA Construct is a leading South Australian facade and construction contractor delivering large-scale commercial and architectural projects across education, defence, health and retail sectors.
We're inviting Expressions of Interest for experienced Bricklayers to join our workforce for upcoming projects scheduled from February 2026 onwards. Work will include commercial brickwork, brick-slip facades, architectural cladding systems and precision pointing finishes.
What you'll do
* Study plans and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures
* Undertake brick cladding, brick-slip installation, pointing and joint finishing to architectural standards
* Set out blockwork and lay bricks and blocks in rows, designs and patterns, ensuring work is level, plumb and aligned
* Embed building blocks in mortar and remove excess mortar for clean, accurate finishes
* Install lintels and flashings to openings
* Prepare base and bedding courses and lay segmental paving where required
* Uphold all WHS, quality and compliance requirements on site
What you'll bring
* Demonstrated experience in commercial bricklaying, brick-slip installation or brick facade cladding
* Trade qualification in Bricklaying/Blocklaying or equivalent experience
* Experience with Brick Slips highly advantageous
* Competence in interpreting drawings and achieving high-quality workmanship
* Strong attention to detail, reliability and commitment to safety
