About The Role
We are looking to hire a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our clients Melbourne based Projects Team. In this role, you will play a key part in the successful execution of projects involving progressive cavity pumps and mixers. You will be responsible for managing projects from tender through to final delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to customer expectations. The successful candidate will assist the Engineering department with technical requirements for design purposes, create documents for submission to clients, provide technical support for other parts of the business and ensure that the designed/offered solution does meet the customer requirements.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
* Reviewing and understanding commercial and technical proposals prior to accepting an order.
* Reviewing, creating, modifying technical documentation.
* Managing all aspects of a project through all departments in the business to ensure a successful delivery.
* Utilizing project management tools to track a project's progress and budget.
* Perform such other duties, relevant to the position, as may be necessary.
* Timely review of projects requirements.
* Documentation creation and turn around.
* Effective execution of a project to delivery.
Required Skills
* Project Management Certification (preferred).
* 5 years' experience in a similar role.
* Technical drawing understanding.
* Pumping and mixing principles
* Piping and instrumentation understanding.
