We are seeking a security-cleared Project Manager to take ownership of complex security infrastructure programs within a high-assurance Australian Government environment.
This is a delivery role. You will be accountable for driving projects end-to-end, maintaining schedule and budget control, and ensuring full compliance with PSPF and ASIO Technical Notes.
You will be expected to lead from the front, manage competing priorities, and operate confidently within established governance frameworks.
What You Will Be Delivering
* Physical security capability upgrades across secure facilities
* Secure network and technology infrastructure deployments
* Security Operations Centre uplift initiatives
* Operating model and cost framework development supporting secure delivery capability
Projects may be delivered locally or remotely and may run concurrently.
Your Responsibilities
* Own the project lifecycle from initiation through HOTO, DLP and formal closure
* Maintain delivery momentum while protecting design integrity and security compliance
* Manage scope, schedule, budget, change control and risk escalation
* Lead procurement activities and manage specialist contractors
* Produce board-ready artefacts including project plans, schedules, RAID registers and status reporting
* Provide clear verbal updates to senior governance forums
* Ensure legislative and regulatory compliance across delivery activities
What We Are Looking For
* Active NV1 clearance at commencement
* Demonstrated delivery of security infrastructure projects in Australian Government
* Practical working knowledge of PSPF and ASIO Technical Notes
* Strong budget management and cost control experience
* Experience managing vendors and contract performance
* Comfortable operating within matrix structures and high-accountability environments
* Confident communicator able to brief executive stakeholders
