The position requires a positive and motivated leader and proven ‘all-rounder’ with a track record in delivering high housekeeping standards.Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you must be passionate about creating a skilled and positive team environment and prioritise the delivery of a premium guest experience.Do you want to live and work on a beautiful island at Kingfisher Bay Resort?Do you have 2 years or more experience as a supervisor?If you said yes - than we want to hear from you!!!!This is a permanent part-time position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight. The successful candidate is available for an immediate start and must be able to relocate to the island for this "live-on" position.Key Role ResponsibilitiesSupportingthe Housekeeping Manager with workforce management, administration, rostering and operational service of the entire housekeeping department.Supervise and perform various cleaning duties of Hotel Rooms and Apartments in compliance to resort standardsMonitor and maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms and provide necessary training to staff to ensure standards are metSupervise and provide mentorship to team leadersMonitor as required the disposal of laundry and garbage and recycle items where necessaryEnsure policies and procedures are adhered to, including compliance of maintenance and HSE reporting.RequirementsMinimum 2 years’ experience in a housekeeping supervisor role in a similar environment and meticulous attention to detailDemonstrated ability to work in a close team environmentCurrent Australian drivers licence (preferred)Previous hotel or resort cleaning experienceDemonstrated ability to prioritise and organise multiple tasks with a commitment to deliver resultsExceptional customer service skillsProven ability to work under pressure and resolve problemsExperience in motivating team members to achieve targets and outcomesThe Benefits - Conditions ApplyAffordable island living only $150.44 per week living expenses (includes 3 staff meals daily & accommodation)$1000 Annual SeaLink Employee Travel AllowanceWorldwide Heartist Bienvenue benefits25% off resort dining, retail and spaFree Island 4WD bus toursFree ferry transfers to-and-from the islandAccess to resort facilitiesAccess to Employee Training ProgramsAbout UsK'gari is a World Heritage listed island off Australia’s Eastern Queensland coast, is the world’s largest sand island, stretching over 120km.
