Job Title: Strategic Governance Advisor
We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Governance Advisor to deliver high-quality governance frameworks, policies, and processes that uphold superannuation trustee corporate governance requirements.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of board activities, providing strategic governance guidance, and driving continuous improvement in governance standards.
The successful candidate will support the Head of Board Governance in managing director succession planning, facilitating fitness propriety assessments, overseeing director nominations and performance reviews, and maintaining accurate records for board skills training.
* Manage director tenure records, report upcoming term expirations, and support Trustee Board continuity succession planning.
* Coordinate director succession with shareholder organisations in line with governance requirements and legal frameworks.
* Oversee board skills learning programs, including skills matrix updates, assessments, individual training plans, and ensure quality compliance board papers.
* Review submissions, meet governance standards, and maintain accurate records for board skills training.
