As a Cook at Goodstart, you'll create delicious, healthy meals that fuel young minds and bodies, becoming a cherished part of our community. Your passion for food and commitment to quality will play a crucial role in shaping the daily experiences of the children in our care.
In this role, you will:
3. Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies
4. Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director
* Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic

* Goodstart Andergrove is in a quiet, family-orientated area North of Mackay. Close to private and public schools as well as frequent public transportation.
* We have our lovely Centre Director who has been working in the Early childhood sector over 10+ years.
* Goodstart Andergrove is 75 place centre that provides a home-like environment for our staff, children and families.
* We are currently seeking Educators for both our Kindergarten Studio and to support our Centre in a Float role.
* We are a welcoming, calm, and supportive environment.
* Communication between families, children and Educators is the key to success

You'll need:
13. Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting
* Current SA Working with Children Check
