Your New Role
You will be championing the Risk Management Framework across the business, providing practical risk advice, driving positive risk culture, delivering insightful reporting, conducting assurance activities, and delivering risk management training across Brighter Super.
Risk Management Framework - This includes managing key risk policies, documents, and registers, maintaining tools and guidance to embed risk practices, and improving the governance, risk, and compliance system (Protecht).
Risk culture - Support the embedment of the Risk Management Framework by delivering policy and risk awareness training, facilitating risk workshops, and engaging in relevant forums.
Lead by example to promote a commercialised risk culture aligned with Brighter Super's values, and assist in reporting key risk culture metrics to the Board and Management to drive continuous improvement.
Risk advisory and related services - Provide practical risk advice, support, and training across a range of activities, including risk assessments, control testing, incident management, and project support.
Contribute to the annual Business Continuity Plan (BCP) test and Risk Management Declaration process, manage operational incidents and escalations, and support projects and change initiatives.
Assist with fraud matters and participate in assurance activities as needed.
Reporting - Assist with enterprise risk reporting for Board and Management on key areas including material risks, emerging risks, operational risks, framework development, and risk culture.
About You
You will most likely be a graduate with 2+ years of working experience, looking for an opportunity to grow your career in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).
Worked within Superannuation or the Financial Services sector.
Extensive GRC experience, we use Protecht.
Demonstrated experience in enterprise-level risk change and transformation.
Good working knowledge and understanding of the Australian financial services regulatory environment, particularly AFS licence conditions, Corporations Act, Anti-Money Laundering/Counter-Terrorism Financing Act, Privacy Act.
Ability to proactively problem solve.
Confident in advising Senior Leaders.
Experienced in training others.
