THE ROLE As a Air Freight Operations Specialist, you'll be responsible for coordinating air freight movements across domestic and international routes. The role leans heavily on email communication with a range of contacts, along with some phone-based support to ensure seamless operations. These activities will include but not be limited to: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Liaise with customers at every stage of their shipment process Provide excellent customer service and manage client relationships Find solutions for highly regulated shipments by air and road Book export airline shipments and track the progress of shipments Check Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) and handle Dangerous Goods (DG) shipments, including repacking and documentation Assist with processing, repacking, and preparing shipments Collaborate with in-house teams and other companies to ensure the timely pickup and collection of freight Consolidate information and liaise with our Broker for prompt release of inbound international cargo Assist with pickups and deliveries as needed ESSENTIAL SKILLS Air Freight Operations Specialist Experience High attention to detail Valid driver’s license Computer literacy and proficiency in using logistics systems Strong problem-solving abilities Ability to communicate clearly and provide alternative solutions to clients and peers Excellent multitasking, prioritisation, and time management skills Dangerous Goods (DG) accreditation is a plus, though training will be provided Knowledge of airfreight operations is preferred Eagerness to learn and grow in the role A committed, reliable, and proactive attitude READY TO MAKE THE MOVE?
