In this role, the key focus is to promote the sales of the Hitachi Light Construction Equipment range across the Melbourne Metro region.Reporting to the Victorian Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:Managing relationships in an existing network of customers within the territoryActively seeking out new sales opportunities (i.e.
daily cold calling/prospecting for new business) General marketing, trade shows and related networking activitiesAccurate reporting of current and prospective activity, growth potential, market and competitor analysisMeeting market share expectations and other KPI's provided by ManagementTo be successful in this role, you will have the following:Proven sales experience within the Construction/Earthmoving equipment industry or similarGenuine desire to deliver Hitachi's Promise of Total Customer Satisfaction as you develop and maintain positive relationships with customersA motivated and competitive drive to not only meet but exceed sales targetsStrategic and analytical capability to assess value, including proficiency in CRMConfident, courteous and professional communication, negotiation and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated and the ability to work autonomouslyA current driver's licenseHitachi Benefits - What's in it for you?
