Production Forklift Operator

We're seeking reliable and hard‑working production operators with forklift experience to support grain bagging operations. If you enjoy manual labour, working both indoors/outdoors, and being part of a tight‑knit team, this role is for you.
About the Role
You will work under direct supervision to keep production running smoothly and safely. Key duties include:
* Operate a counterbalance forklift to move grain bags and materials
* Support the production line to maintain continuous workflow
* Hang hessian bags onto machinery prior to automated filling
* Monitor the grain bagging process, ensuring accurate fill and smooth equipment operation
* Check weight accuracy using scales and confirming the green indicator
* Follow supervisor instructions and report any issues promptly
* Maintain required production pace and targets
* Keep the workspace clean - sweeping floors and clearing debris
* Assist with general manual labour tasks across the site
What We're Looking For
* Experience with manual handling / labouring
* Forklift experience (counterbalance)
* Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
* Ability to follow directions and work safely
* Reliable, punctual, and physically fit for repetitive tasks
* PPE required (steel caps, hi‑vis, etc.)
* Confortable with working afternoon shifts
