The Role
The family is seeking an outgoing and bubbly Nanny & Household Assistant who can balance fun, structure, and light household support. The ideal candidate will bring positive energy, be engaging with the children, and confidently maintain boundaries when required. This is a long-term role, and the family is looking for someone committed to growing with them and becoming a trusted, consistent presence in their children’s lives.
Responsibilities
- Caring for son (3 years) and son (9 months) through age appropriate play and activities.
- Engaging Oliver in imaginative play and encouraging his passion for cooking by involving him in meal preparation.
- Supporting with light household tasks including dinner preparation, laundry (washing/folding), dishwasher duties, and tidying/resetting the home at the end of the day.
- Managing time effectively and taking initiative to complete household tasks without needing direction.
Schedule
Start Date 13th October, 2026
- Mondays, 2:30pm – 7:30pm
- Additional ad hoc shifts, such as occasional Saturday mornings, afternoons, or full days (scheduled in advance).
Holidays
Accompanying the family on holidays (with all arrangements planned well in advance) including
- Noosa, 30 October – 4 November this year
- Multiple trips to Hamilton Island in 2026 (ranging from long weekends to week long stays)

- Someone fun, nurturing, and engaging with children, who can also handle a strong willed child calmly and confidently.
- Robust work ethic with excellent attention to detail.
- An interest or passion for cooking (highly valued as it’s one of their sons' favourite activities).
- Able to balance childcare with light household support, taking initiative around the home.
- Organised, adaptable, and willing to take the stress out of family travel by stepping in with strong organisational skills.
- Someone seeking a long-term commitment who will become a trusted and consistent presence in the children’s lives.
