About the role
We are seeking Rehabilitation Counsellors on either a permanent full-time or part-time basis.
Key responsibilities include:
16. Manage a caseload of clients with psychological or physical injuries
17. Complete initial assessments and identify any barriers preventing the client from returning to work
18. Set individualised goals and organise appropriate interventions
19. Conduct vocational assessments and provide vocational counselling
20. Attend medical appointments
21. Complete case notes and reports
22. Facilitate a safe and timely return to work
23. Communicate effectively with clients and medical professionals
To be successful in the role you will have:
24. Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Counselling or Masters of Rehabilitation Counselling or Master of Psychology
25. Full or associate membership with ASORC as a Rehabilitation Counsellor
26. Demonstrated experience in a similar role (preferred)
27. Full Australian drivers’ licence and reliable vehicle
28. National police check
29. Unrestricted working rights in Australia
30. Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
31. Strong written and verbal communication skills
32. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
33. Strong stakeholder management skills
