Six Degrees is excited to be partnering with a major State Government program in the recruitment of an operational HR advisor to join their team.

**About this role:**
As an operational HR advisor, you will provide practical advice and guidance to internal clients on a broad range of contemporary human resource management issues through the interpretation of legislation, industrial instruments, and/or policies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Providing advice to leaders regarding human resource issues and providing advice and guidance that balances employee and organisational interests.
• Preparing correspondence (including but not limited to letters, reports, submissions, guidelines, briefs) on a range of HR issues for internal and external stakeholders.
• Supporting the Principal HR Officer by providing advice to staff and supervisors regarding complaint management including employee grievances, employee conduct, and performance.
**Essential Requirements:**
Knowledge of QLD Government directives and policies.
Extensive human resources experience in a large multidisciplinary environment.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to consult with a wide range of stakeholders.
Well-developed Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word skills.
**Desirable Requirements:**
Human resources experience within the public sector, preferably within Queensland Government.
Experience in workforce data analytics including PowerBi.
