Windgap Foundation is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Stock Controller to oversee the efficient and safe operations of our warehouse. This pivotal role is responsible for managing the end-to-end movement of raw and finished products - from receiving through to accurate dispatch - ensuring high standards of organisation, safety, and quality at every stage.
In addition to managing stock and logistics, the Stock Controller will play a key role in supporting our mission to provide meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities. The position works closely with put support team to provide inclusive supervision, hands-on training, and supportive guidance to Supported Employees and participants completing work experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise warehouse staff and oversee daily warehouse operations
* Track, coordinate, and manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods and materials
* Ensure efficient, accurate, and timely order fulfillment
* Maintain appropriate inventory levels and accurate stock records
* Conduct quality checks and verify all incoming and outgoing goods
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, operational standards, and best practice procedures
* Operate a forklift to safely load and unload trucks
* Conduct risk assessments and report incidents promptly
* Support and train Supported Employees and participants, fostering skills development and positive work outcomes
* Promote a proactive culture of health, safety, and well-being.
About You:
Essential Criteria
* Strong commitment to inclusion and empowerment of people with disabilities.
* Current Forklift License
* Demonstrated experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics
* Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Outlook, Excel; database experience preferred).
* Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management
* Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a diverse team
* Current NSW Driver's License and First Aid Certificate
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain).
