ABOUT THE ROLE
Based in our Balcatta head office, this role involves design of bespoke home renovations and extensions. Project values range from $200,000 to over $2 million, covering a diverse mix of architectural styles, from character homes to contemporary designs.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare design concepts for bespoke home renovations and extensions $200,000 to $2 million+ using Archicad and Twinmotion .
* Client facing role. Attend the design meetings with the client and our sales/design consultant (who coordinates and chairs the meeting).
* Collaborate with the estimating and construction teams to ensure plans meet specifications.
* Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
* Prepare and project justifications when required.
Your Skills & Experience
* Diploma of Building Design or Architecture qualification from a recognised institution.
* Minimum 2 years of experience using Archicad .
* Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret architectural concepts accurately.
* Ability to communicate professionally with internal teams and external consultants.
* Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Knowledge of local building codes & regulations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Experience in custom homes and/or renovations will be highly regarded.
