Senior Nuclear Engineer Position
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Nuclear Engineer to join our team and contribute their expertise in nuclear safety, security, and safeguards to the design, construction, and operation of submarine-supporting infrastructure.
* The ideal candidate will have experience supporting design, construction, and commissioning phases with nuclear engineering expertise.
* They should be able to participate in assurance and compliance activities, contributing to licensing documentation.
* Candidates will collaborate with nuclear safety professionals, engineering teams, and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
* Strong communication skills are essential for identifying and implementing improvements in nuclear facility engineering processes and documentation.
* Assistance in identifying and managing nuclear-related risks associated with facility build and operations is also required.
A high level of availability for collaboration calls outside normal working hours (UK timezone) is necessary. Periodic domestic and international travel may also be required on an ad hoc basis.
