We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team at Gawler and Districts Dental Care in Gawler, SA. This is a part‑time / casual relief position opportunity to assist our dentists in providing high‑quality dental care to our patients. Previous experience with Hicaps and D4W highly regarded
What you'll be doing
* Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment for dental procedures
* Assisting the dentist during examinations and treatments
* Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
* Scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries
* Ensuring the dental surgery and waiting area are clean and well‑organised
* Providing excellent customer service and care to our patients
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar healthcare role
* Strong organisational and administrative skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast‑paced environment
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control
