The Company

This decorated and successful Not For Profit organisation is highly regarded for the important disability support services it provides to many families within the Victorian community. The organisation is undergoing sustained periods of growth due to diversifying their service offering to an expanding client base.

The Role

Scheduled to commence mid-February, this full time, 6 month temp role reports to the Finance Manager. Your primary duties will predominantly be full function AP and also assisting the AR team where possible. The role is perfect for someone who enjoys diversity and an opportunity to multi-task, where you will be required to assist other finance team members where possible. A large part of the role will require you to clear through a backlog of work due to the gradual implementation of a new ERP system over the coming months. The role will encompass the following;

* Full function AP/AR
* High volume manual invoice processing
* Collections
* Matching, batching, coding invoices to Purchase Orders
* Bank recs
* Supplier statement recs
* Monthly reporting
* Journals
* Ad hoc tasks as directed
About You

A self motivated team player, you will be highly competent across the main accounting functions of AP and AR, and be adaptable to help out other team members within the finance team. Ideally you will have been a Finance/Accounts Officer or an Assistant Accountant who has worked within the Not For Profit sector and has experience working with NDIS. However, candidates with experience with working in a similar hands-on role for an SME business from other industries are also encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

* Min 3-4 years’ experience in a similar position
