Supervisor Maintenance Service - Electrical
MinRes is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor Electrical to support electrical shutdown requirements across our operations in Western Australia. Reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance Service, you will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating a team of highly skilled electricians, ensuring all shutdown activities are carried out in line with safe work procedures, schedules, and quality standards.
This role requires a high level of technical expertise, strong leadership capability, and well‐developed organisational skills to ensure shutdown projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and within required timeframes.
This is a permanent full‐time position on a dynamic 8D/6RR roster.
Key responsibilities
* Supervise electrical maintenance teams across shutdowns and project execution activities
* Allocate labour and resources to support shutdown schedules and maintenance priorities
* Lead small teams during shutdowns to achieve safe, efficient, and high‐quality outcomes
* Coordinate the planning, logistics, and execution of electrical maintenance work across fixed plant assets
* Provide day‐to‐day leadership, direction, and support to direct reports and broader site crews
* Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety, compliance, and operational requirements
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet shutdown and project timelines
* Promote strong team performance and maintain a proactive safety culture on site
* Manage detailed shutdown work packs, including scope, schedules, and resource requirements
* Liaise with various departments to schedule shutdown activities in a way that minimises production downtime and maximises efficiency
* Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to ensure activities are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and standards
What you'll bring
* Extensive experience in an Electrical trade role
* Prior experience in an Electrical Supervisory position with excellent leadership skills within maintenance or shutdowns environment
* Strong technical knowledge of maintenance practices, equipment reliability, and shutdown procedures
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast‐paced environment
* Australian recognised Electrical Trade Qualification Electrical
* Schedule 26 certification
