Southern Cross Care is seeking compassionate and people‑oriented individuals to join our Care Car program as a driver. Our aim is to break down barriers to community participation and good health for older adults by providing accessible, safe, and age‑friendly transport that is fully operated by volunteers. All trips are conducted within a 10km radius of our Community Health & Wellness Centre at Carmelite in Myrtle Bank, using our modern, safe, and fully‑maintained vehicles.
We're Looking For
* Driving enthusiasts with a great sense of direction and excellent knowledge of Adelaide.
* People‑oriented individuals who love interacting with others, possess clear communication skills, patience and empathy.
* Committed volunteers for Mondays between 8 am and 4 pm.
Requirements (to Ensure Client Safety and Well‑being)
* A current C‑class driver's licence with a good driving history.
* A current National Police Certificate for the Purpose of Aged Care.
* A current First Aid and CPR certificate.
* Note: We can assist you in obtaining these documents.
