Job Overview
A Quality Assurance Professional is required to lead quality deliverables for individual projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The successful candidate will drive accreditation processes, monitor quality issues, and participate in internal and external audits.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement quality plans, inspection test plans, and weld procedures.
* Conduct regular audits to ensure ongoing compliance with ASME and ISO systems.
* Manage and resolve quality-related issues through the NCR process.
* Liaise with clients, auditors, and external parties regarding quality requirements.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Relevant certifications: AS Certificate 10 (Welding Supervisor – Pressure Equipment), AS Welding Supervisor (Structural Steel), IIW IWI-E / IIW IWI-S, and CSWIP 3.2 Senior Welding Inspector.
* Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Quality Engineering (desirable).
* 5+ years' experience in a QA/QC role within a manufacturing environment.
* Proven knowledge of quality systems and standards.
