Program Structure:
* 12-week training program covering Caterpillar knowledge, soft skills, and consulting with dealers and customers
* Rotations in various roles throughout Caterpillar, learning strategy, services, and products
* Placed into the field with comprehensive experience and knowledge to partner with dealers
What You Will Do:
* Develop foundational knowledge of Caterpillar's products, services, and customers
* Grow personally and professionally through hands-on technical training and soft skills development
* Collaborate with experts in product development, dealer management, marketing, and sales
* Manage assigned territory and serve as a connection between dealers and Caterpillar
Specialization Paths:
* Industry Sales Representative: Counsel dealers to develop and increase their performance and assist with sales strategy planning
* Industry Technical Representative: Minimize the technical and commercial impact of customer complaints and support the dealer's technical capabilities
* Aftermarket Services Representative: Advance aftermarket parts and service sales in the field
Requirements:
* Accredited university/college degree in Marketing, Science, Engineering, Technical, or related field
* 1-5 years relevant work experience
* Advanced proficiency in both written and spoken English
* Willingness to travel extensively (50 – 70%)
* Willingness to relocate domestically/internationally based on business need
