Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior control systems engineer to lead the delivery of innovative automation solutions across complex projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with safety credentials, such as FS Engineer (TÜV Rheinland) or TÜV SÜD Functional Safety Engineer, who can provide leadership in safety and compliance with IEC 61508/61511 standards.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop clear project scopes of work through direct engagement with clients
* Lead the design, development, implementation, and commissioning of advanced control system solutions
* Ensure all project deliverables meet high standards of quality, safety, and timeliness
* Provide expert-level technical support and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
* Promote a culture focused on health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ)
Requirements:
* Minimum of five years' experience in control systems engineering within heavy industry or similar high-risk environments
* Strong client engagement skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
* Proven experience with control systems, automation platforms, and industrial communication networks
* Demonstrated understanding of functional and/or machine safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508/61511, IEC 62061, ISO 13849) and their application in engineering design and commissioning
* Safety certifications such as FS Engineer (TÜV Rheinland), TÜV SÜD Functional Safety Engineer, or equivalent are highly regarded
* Commitment to embedding safety into all phases of project delivery, including hazard analysis, risk assessment, and SIL verification
