Software Deployment Specialist

About the Role:
The Software Deployment Team is responsible for maintaining and configuring software tools used for deployment and operating system deployment. They assist more complex packaging requirements.
* Assess and integrate new hardware into Microsoft Configuration Manager for OSD ensuring all drivers and required driver apps are installed
* Assist Application packagers with advanced packaging issues
* Help mentor junior packagers
* Maintain Management tools/servers (Microsoft Configuration Manager, Adaptiva)
* Assist with keeping tools/servers versions up to date
* Assist with any build issues
* Assist with Identifying, testing and implementing any improvements to the build process
* Assist with any software deployment and install issues
Key Responsibilities:
* Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
* Good Knowledge of Microsoft Configuration Manager and Adaptiva on Windows server systems
* Good trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
* Familiarity with ITIL processes and standards
* Good knowledge of Powershell and SQL
* Some knowledge and or experience with Intune and Office 365
