About the role
As Security Lead, you will manage the day-to-day security operations of the site while ensuring compliance with Defence and organisational security frameworks. You will also play a key role in building security awareness, strengthening processes, and supporting program success through proactive risk management and governance.
Key responsibilities
* Lead and implement protective security practices in line with DSPF, PSPF, and ISM requirements.
* Manage and administer site security systems, user access, and reporting processes.
* Oversee visitor management, contractor access, and site compliance activities.
* Maintain and improve security registers, audit processes, and documentation.
* Deliver security briefings, education sessions, and awareness programs.
* Manage security clearances and liaise with AGSVA on personnel security matters.
* Provide expert security advice to stakeholders and contribute to policy and process improvements.
* Support audits, reviews, and ongoing security program development.

Additional requirements
As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen.
