The Role
This is a wonderful, part‐time (0.82 FTE) opportunity for a Health and Physical Education Teacher to step into a short‐term leave cover position at PLC. The period of engagement is for 6 weeks, commencing 13 July 2026 through Friday 21 August 2026. The incumbent will teach Health and Physical Education across Years 7–10 and support teaching within the "Empowered Changemakers" program, which aims to increase creativity, independence and foster authentic learning experiences outside the classroom.
About You
* Qualified, experienced Health and Physical Education Teacher, or recent graduate, with a passion for teaching senior students, particularly across Years 7–10.
* Someone who can be looked up to by students and staff, ensuring PLC programmes are of the highest standard and that a purposeful, cohesive approach to health and physical education is shared across the College.
* Committed to encouraging a culture of success and enjoyment of learning, and ensuring each student has access to a positive and enriching educational experience.
* Must hold and maintain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
