We are seeking a dedicated Golf Store Manager with expertise in golf club fitting and building. The successful candidate will manage daily store operations, deliver excellent customer service, and provide expert advice on golf equipment. You will also perform custom fittings, build clubs to individual needs, give golf lessons, and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee store operations including inventory, sales, and customer service
• Conduct professional golf club fittings using advanced tools and technology
• Build and repair clubs including re-gripping, re-shafting, and adjustments
• Provide golf lessons to customers and members to enhance engagement and sales
• Assist customers with equipment, apparel, and accessories
• Plan promotions, events, and marketing initiatives to grow the customer base
• Utilise social media and digital platforms to engage the local golf community
• Work independently to increase and promote sales
Qualifications
• Proven retail management experience, ideally in the golf industry
• Strong knowledge of golf equipment and fitting techniques
• Ability to give golf lessons and communicate effectively with players of all levels
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
• Golf Link number required, membership of a golf club preferred
• Would ideally have digital social skills and ability to create content or organise
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift and move boxes and equipment
• Comfortable standing for extended periods
