Registered Nurse Position Overview
This is an opportunity to provide person-centred care to clients as a casual Registered Nurse. The role involves collaborating with clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver comprehensive nursing care.
The successful candidate will work closely with healthcare professionals, including GPs and allied health specialists, to ensure seamless client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement tailored care plans focused on managing symptoms of PTSD and other mental health conditions.
* Attend to complex wound dressings in a timely manner.
* Visit client homes to provide nursing care and support.
* Document comprehensive progress notes for each client.
* Consult with healthcare professionals to discuss client care and outcomes.
* Provide direction and supervision to support workers.
* Respond promptly to medical emergencies and administer first aid as required.
Requirements:
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with no restrictions.
* Bachelor of Nursing (RNs).
* Minimum 6 months paid experience in aged care, disability, mental health, community, or acute care.
* Ability to work night duty when required.
