YOUR ROLE

You will play a pivotal role in a time of significant technology change within our business. We are looking for an experienced Engineer to support our API enablement team to efficiently create, build, test and deploy software, enabling Continuous Integration practices and leading the way with automation of deployment pipelines.
With strong stakeholder management skills you will lead and train delivery teams to implement instrumentation of application and infrastructure to obtain quality and performance insights including in-depth diagnosis and tuning of services.
We are looking for someone in Melbourne.
ABOUT YOU
The right candidate for the role is used to working within an agile team to develop, test, and maintain / support applications. Ideally with experience in as many of the following as possible;
1. API Gateway Administration – APIGEE, AWS, Azure
2. API Gateway Development – APIGEE, AWS, Azure
3. API Governance
4. API First Principles
5. Open API Specification (Swagger, OAS3, RAML)
6. Python, Typescript, JavaScript, GOLANG, Java
7. Programming frameworks such as Node.js, React, Springboot, Chroma
8. Package Management – NPM / NPX, PIP
9. Jest (Test automation)
10. AWS CDK, AWS Cloudformation (Infrastructure automation)
11. Monitoring and Alerting – Splunk
12. Working with DevSecOps
13. Continuous Integration tools and technologies including Docker, AWS Pipeline, Bamboo
14. Developer Tools & applications (VSCode, JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, Git, Gradle / Maven)
15. Cloud computing such as AWS, GCP and Azure
16. NoSQL Databases (Dynamodb)
17. MacOS, Linux
