What you'll be doing:
As the Planning & Environment Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and guiding the development of bushfire-prone land within the state. You will be responsible for ensuring that all development projects comply with relevant planning, environmental, and bushfire safety regulations, and that the safety of the community and the environment is protected.
To thrive in this role, you will have:
Degree or Graduate Certificate in a relevant discipline.
Proven experience in managing people with a focus on planning and prioritisation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
A strategic thinker who can motivate and inspire a team.
Firefighting and/or fire behaviour knowledge, skills and experience.
