Are you an energetic leader with a passion for aquatics and venue management?

We're excited to invite applications for the Venue Manager role at Kawana Aquatic Centre. This opportunity has become available due to an internal movement, and it's a brilliant time step into a beautifully newly renovated venue with strong community presence and plenty of momentum. Why You'll Love This Role

* Lead a standout venue: Take ownership of a newly renovated centre that's ready to shine
* Make real community impact: Build strong connections with members, families, schools and clubs
* Shape programs and participation: Drive learn‐to‐swim, squad pathways, programs and customer experience with quality at the core
* Career growth: Join a leadership team that backs development, collaboration and growing leaders from within
* Supportive environment: Work with a forward‐thinking team committed to safety, service excellence and continuous improvement
* Competitive package: Generous salary, Fitness Passport, discounted lessons, and additional CVM team member benefits

What You'll Bring

* Experienced leader with a strong background in aquatics, health, leisure or fitness
* Confident managing a multi‐disciplinary operation (people, programs, plant/facilities, customer experience)
* Knowledge of aquatic operations, compliance, and industry standards
* Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a diverse team with energy and professionalism
* Strong business acumen including budgeting, performance reporting and planning
* Committed to outstanding customer service and community connection
* You lead from the front: on the deck, in customer service and alongside your team, not behind a desk
* Availability to work weekends and a rotating mix of opening and closing shifts to support centre operations

About You

As Venue Manager, you'll oversee all facets of the Centre from aquatic programs to customer experience and team leadership to ensuring Kawana is the go‐to destination for fitness, wellbeing and family fun in the region.

You will lead the end‐to‐end operations of the Centre, ensuring the highest standard of quality, safety and service across aquatic programmes, facilities, and customer service. You will champion health and safety, risk mitigation and continuous improvement while delivering operational plans aligned with organisational goals.

You will lead, mentor and motivate a vibrant team of managers, instructors, lifeguards and customer service team members. You will build capability, nurture a culture of accountability and connection, and deliver performance outcomes through workforce planning, coaching and engagement.

You will ensure the delivery of best‐practice aquatic and fitness programs. Working closely with programme leads, you'll drive quality, participation and evolved service offerings based on data, feedback and industry trends, always with a customer‐first mindset.

You will grow the venue's reach through strategic partnerships, local engagement and targeted initiatives. You'll build strong relationships with schools, sporting clubs and community groups, and use insights and reporting tools to enhance business outcomes and member experience.
