Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant based in Armidale, NSW. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing accounts, conducting audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial advice to clients. Additional responsibilities may include preparing tax documents, analyzing financial data, and assisting clients with budgeting and forecasting to drive growth and achieve long-term objectives.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and preparing financial statements
* Knowledge of taxation, compliance, and regulatory requirements
* Strong analytical skills for financial data analysis and budgeting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions
* Proficiency with accounting software and financial systems
* Attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy and efficiency
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* Professional accounting qualifications or certifications (e.g., CPA, CA) are highly desirable
* Experience in working with clients in the agricultural or regional business industries is an advantage
