**The Opportunity**
This rare opportunity is for an experienced M&A Manager to join Bupa Asia Pacific's M&A team. This role will be responsible for executing Bupa Asia Pacific's M&A strategy (growth and portfolio optimisation) and provide Corporate Finance expertise to Asia Pacific Business Units. You'll will join a small, collaborative team but actively be responsible for successfully executing a large number of M&A transactions. Over the last 18-24 months the team has executed 7 M&A transactions
This is a permanent full-time position, based in any of our Bupa Offices (Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane). Bupa offers hybrid working arrangements and you can work from the office or from home).
**How will I help?**
**You will add value by**:
- Executing M&A transactions including valuation, due diligence, commercial negotiation, preparation of Board approval materials, assistance with tax and legal structuring
- Preparing presentations for senior management regarding acquisition targets, growth strategies, new market / geographical opportunities, and transaction approvals
- Liaising effectively and providing input to business units on a range of strategic finance related matters
- Building and/or reviewing detailed valuations models for potential acquisition targets
- Regular reporting to internal stakeholders on growth initiatives, acquisition targets and divestments
- Undertake company and industry research on proposed acquisitions and growth strategies

**What do I need?**
Firstly, you will need to be a highly passionate and experienced M&A Specialist, who has worked across complex organisations, multi-functional organisations previously - such as corporate (M&A / corporate development teams), investment banks or corporate finance boutiques, or Big 4 accounting firms (TS/CF). Tertiary qualifications in finance, legal or accounting is preferable and Postgraduate qualifications such as CA, CPA, CFA, MBA highly desirable but not essential.
