Eastcoaster Tasmania - Front of House Manager
Eastcoaster Tasmania, situated in Orford, provides accommodation options including 16 villas, 9 cabins, and 47 motel rooms, 5 function and conference spaces, and two restaurants. Guests enjoy access to comprehensive facilities such as a gym, games room, indoor and outdoor pools, spa, BBQ areas, playground, and courts for squash, pickleball, and basketball. Our objective is to ensure all guests experience comfortable accommodation, an inviting dining environment, and an overall enjoyable stay.
The Front of House Manager oversees systems and processes to ensure efficient service and maintain excellent guest satisfaction across our restaurants and event spaces, supporting Eastcoaster Tasmania’s reputation for outstanding hospitality. Contribute proactively to achieving successful outcomes for the organization.
Group bookings play an essential role in our business, and this position is responsible for making sure everything goes smoothly. Events occur in multiple function and conference rooms, with the Head Chef overseeing catering. The ideal candidate prioritises excellent customer service, demonstrates a strong work ethic, and strives to create positive experiences at Eastcoaster Tasmania.
The ideal candidate:
* Minimum 3 years in hospitality
* Positive, helpful attitude
* Must have a professional appearance
* Very skilled in bartending and cocktails
* Works well with all staff
* Staff management and rostering experience
* Previous experience with Lightspeed, Bite, or Now Book or similar is vital
* Proficient in Word, Excel, Canva
* Reliable and flexible schedule, including weekends/holidays
