The Role
We are seeking an experienced Part Time Security Team Member to undertake Control Room Operator duties who can demonstrate excellent customer service skills and passion for the security industry with a strong desire to make a difference.
This position is to commence ASAP and is based at the Macquarie Centre.
Roster: Mon, Tue & Thur:
This role pays in accordance with the Security Services Industry Award 2020.
The role will work closely with both Assetlink and our Client to ensure a safe and secure working environment for all persons, including contractors, visitors and employees in the building and surrounding area, through monitoring of CCTV and completing required reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and operate CCTV cameras and associated equipment
* Manage various communications to the control room, dealing with Client, Tenant and Customer enquiries and/or issues
* Fire Alarm Response, EWS Mimic Panel Operation (Warden) and provide accurate reports
* Assist with Emergency Situations as they arise
* Disperse Guards to potential situations caught on CCTV and monitor situations until the closure of the incident
* Maintain daily reporting requirements within agreed timelines
* Coordinate emergency incidents i.e. fire, bomb threat or any other critical incident
* Risk identification and issue resolution
* Maintain all Security aspects around the Control Room including key registers, contact lists and leave registers
* Provide exceptional customer service to internal/external stakeholders
* General security duties including administration tasks
* Provide assistance with the induction and signing in of contractors and other site visitors
Skills & Experience
To be considered for an opportunity with Assetlink Services, you must be able to demonstrate that you have the skills, experience & appropriate certification within the following areas:
* NSW Security Licence including control room function
* Certificate II in Security Operations qualification (essential) and corresponding qualifications
* Confident interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
* An ability to form effective client and tenant relationships
* The ability to produce high-quality performance reports
* First Aid Qualification and valid CPR (essential)
* Previous Control Room and monitoring experience (preferred)
* Excellent, well-groomed and corporate-appropriate presentation
* Ability to work as a part of the Security Team and individually
* Ability to respond to emergency situations
* Must have full working rights in Australia.
* Strong multitasking ability
* High level of computer literacy and MS Office skills
* Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts
* 7-day availability
