Previous technical experience in steam, heat transfer, fluid handling, HVAC, oil & gas would be highly regarded. Experience with pumps and valves is NOT essential as comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate.

* Tertiary qualifications in engineering or mechanical trade experience with career progression towards engineering/sales.
* Technical experience and exposure to industrial processes.
* Previous experience in a sales role.

* A keen willingness to learn and develop your skills.
* Competent user of Excel, Word, Outlook.
* Exposure to CRM & ERP systems.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities will include:
* Review customers' requirements and project specifications.
* Working with customers to find solutions and products to suit their needs.
* Providing sales quotations and technical/commercial proposals to customers.
* Follow up of commercial proposals.
* Taking incoming sales queries and working with customers to understand their needs.
* Processing orders and expediting activities.
* Oversee projects from quote to supply of goods and documentation.
* Maintaining regular contact with suppliers and customers.
* Maintain customer relationships; participate in client meetings as required.
