Our Client
Well known branded business requires a Finance Manager, to join their Head office in Brisbane, reporting straight into the CFO whilst leading and managing a small team. The company operates within Australia and NZ, and is a profitable, well established business with plans for further growth in the next 3- 5 years.
The Role
Reporting to the CFO, the responsibilities of the role will include:
* Consolidation of all end of month processing and drive month end close
* Good systems / ERP knowledge
* Preparation and review of financial statements / liaison with the auditors
* Processing of daily bank accounts, recs and transactions
* Oversee preparations of monthly journals and general ledger
* Supervision / mentoring of 2 - 4 accounts assistants
About You
The successful applicant will be / have : CA / CPA qualification with strong technical accounting abilities.
Hands on and deadline driven
Ability to pick up processes quickly
Strong verbal and written communication skills
