This role plays a crucial part in overseeing all commercial activities related to subcontractors. Key responsibilities include contract management, budget oversight, adherence to commercial agreements, and subcontractor relationship management.
1. Understand subcontractor's scope of work: contract specifications, drawings, and schedules.
2. Act as the primary point of contact and work with subcontractors to resolve problems.
3. Identify risks and opportunities, develop mitigation plans, and escalate critical issues.
4. Supervise subcontractors' daily activities and ensure work is executed as per business priorities (HSE, quality, schedule) and contractual requirements. Identify and document deviations.
5. Coordinate work planning with all subcontractors' trades and participate in daily planning meetings.
6. Issue non-compliance reports (NCR) to subcontractors.
7. Monitor activities and provide progress reports (HSE, quality, schedule).
8. Coordinate change management process and manage claims with the subcontractors.
9. Approve timesheets, progress, and invoicing.
10. Manage weekly meetings with subcontractors (progress, performance, risks and opportunities, contractual issues, invoicing, etc.) and issue minutes of meetings.
11. Obtain and maintain all relevant subcontractor documentation as per the contract.
Your profile
1. Diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related field.
2. Ability to drive project success with a focus on HSE, quality, and schedule.
3. Previous demonstrated experience in Construction Management.
4. Collaborative team player with a customer- and people-oriented approach, accountable, and solution-driven.
5. Proactive mindset in anticipating challenges and delivering strategic problem-solving solutions.
6. Fully computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
7. Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in an international team environment.

* A typical roster of 14 days in, 7 days out.
