About the Role
What's on at the Library? Last year our libraries hosted over 1,000 events for all ages including our annual Writers' Festival and Writing Award
In this role, you'll be at the heart of planning and delivering a broad range of outreach events, including author talks, writing programs, digital literacy, health and wellbeing, and creative skills workshops.
You'll bring passion, energy, and creativity to design and deliver a fun and engaging program of events which enhance the value of the library and meet community lifelong learning needs.
About You
You're someone who:
- Cares deeply about community connection and lifelong learning.
- Stays calm under pressure and thrives in a team-based workplace.
- Connects easily with people from all walks of life.
You bring:
- A degree in library and information science (ALIA recognised).
- A sound understanding of library programs, outreach, and service delivery.
- Strong customer service skills and a collaborative mindset.
