Handyperson Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our maintenance team as a handyperson. As a handyperson, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the hotel runs smoothly behind the scenes.
About the Role
The handyperson will be responsible for carrying out regular proactive preventative maintenance tasks in guest rooms and public areas. This includes identifying and resolving issues before they become problems.
* Maintenance and Repairs: Carry out routine maintenance and repairs to ensure all fixtures, fittings, furniture, and equipment are in good working condition.
* Preventative Maintenance: Identify potential issues and take proactive measures to prevent them from occurring.
* Documentation and Administration: Use our digital maintenance system to log work orders, track progress, and document completed tasks.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a hands-on attitude and strong willingness to learn. You should be a team player with excellent communication skills and a high attention-to-detail.
* Skills and Qualifications:
* Manual handling of up to 15kg without difficulty
* Ability to work across varied 6-day roster (Monday-Saturday)
* Unrestricted working rights in Australia
